Rise of Hope – Women Empowerment Initiative
Under its Rise of Hope initiative, Sam and Jane Foundation launched a dedicated Skill Development Centre at Tenali to empower women through vocational training, livelihood opportunities, and entrepreneurship development. The centre was inaugurated by Dr. Nidhi Meena, IAS Officer, marking an important step towards strengthening women empowerment and sustainable livelihood generation in rural and underserved communities.
The primary objective of the initiative is to provide women with practical, certificate-based skill training that enables them to become financially independent, self-confident, and socially empowered. Through structured training programs and community support, the initiative encourages women to develop sustainable income sources and improve their socio-economic well-being.
Training Programs Offered Under Rise of Hope:
Sam and Jane Foundation strongly believes that women are the foundation of strong families and thriving communities. Women contribute immensely to society as mothers, daughters, sisters, caregivers, and leaders, yet many are often unable to pursue their own aspirations due to social, financial, and cultural barriers.
Many women, especially from rural and economically disadvantaged backgrounds, aspire to become self-reliant and contribute financially to their families but lack access to opportunities, training, guidance, and support systems. Through the Rise of Hope initiative, Sam and Jane Foundation creates opportunities for women to learn new skills, build confidence, start micro-enterprises, and become active contributors to their households and communities.
The initiative not only focuses on skill development but also promotes dignity, leadership, financial independence, and long-term community empowerment for women and adolescent girls. By equipping women with practical livelihood skills and entrepreneurial opportunities, Sam and Jane Foundation is helping create empowered women, stronger families, and sustainable communities.
